Kushala Daora and Vaal Hazak circled each other, sizing one another up in the clearing deep within the forest. Kushala roared, and his metallic skin shone against the sun's rays. Vaal Hazak hissed in response, his body covered in carrion and exuding deadly Effluvium. Kushala took off, his massive wings carrying him up into the sky as he summoned a powerful tornado beneath him. Wind howled through the clearing, uprooting trees from the ground, and sweeping dirt and rocks in all directions. Vaal Hazak stood his ground as he spewed out a massive noxious cloud of Effluvium. The tornado picked up the fumes, scattering them in all directions, but Kushala stayed on course, unaffected by the miasma. Kushala swooped down, his large talons bared and ready to strike, but Vaal Hazak wasn't to be trifled with. He used his incredible speed to dodge the incoming attack, his jaws wide open as he latched on to Kushala's wing. As he did, the carrion on Vaal's body dislodged, falling off to the ground with a gross thud. Kushala recoiled in pain, but his powerful magic kept him up, preventing him from falling to the ground. As the two monsters continued to fight, Vaal Hazak continued to feed off the Effluvium in the area, healing his wounds and growing stronger by the minute. But Kushala, with his mastery over wind and the sky, wasn't going to be beaten easily. Using his aerokinesis, Kushala whipped up a gust of wind so strong, even Vaal Hazak struggled to keep his grip. With a snarl, Kushala summoned lightning from the sky, charging it through his body, and unleashing it in a powerful blast. The electricity coursed through Vaal Hazak's body, and he was thrown back, landing on his back with a heavy thud. Kushala roared in triumph, his metallic body gleaming in the sunlight as he circled and swooped down to finish Vaal Hazak off, but to his surprise, Vaal leaped up, his body changing shape to accommodate his newfound strength. He swung his two rows of razor-sharp fangs at Kushala, who barely managed to dodge in time, his wings taking the brunt of the attack. With a triumphant howl, Vaal Hazak lunged forward, his powerful jaws locked onto the side of Kushala's neck. Kushala thrashed around, his talons scraping the ground as he tried to free himself from Vaal's deadly grip. With his magic failing him, Kushala was thrown off balance, and he plunged to the ground with a final desperate cry. The battle was over, and Vaal Hazak emerged the victor. Kushala's body lay motionless on the ground, defeated by Vaal's formidable powers.
