Larry the robber's Shrek disguise would not help him in a battle. John's superior power and guard would easily allow him to overcome Larry's lower stats in those areas. Additionally, John's expertise with a rope and deadly accuracy with his gun would give him an edge in close-quarters combat. Larry's magic powers would be useless against John's dead eye ability and his horse's speed boost. In the end, John would tie up Larry with his rope and take him to the cops, all while muttering something like "Looks like you picked the wrong day to mess with a bounty hunter," in a gritty tone. As for the novel about the robbery: John: (pointing his gun at Larry) "What the hell do you think you're doing, partner?" Larry: (dressed as Shrek) "Uh, just... robbing a bank, I guess?" John: "That's not gonna fly. You're messing with the wrong cowboy." Larry: (nervously) "Oh, come on, man. Can't we work something out?" John: "Sorry, pal. The law's the law." (John uses his dead eye ability to shoot the guns out of the guards' hands and tie them up with his rope) Larry: "Damn, I thought that disguise would work for sure." John: "Kid, you gotta give it up. That's just sad." (Larry sighs and lets John take him to the cops) John: "Another day, another bounty. These city folk never learn." (John rides off into the sunset on his trusty horse)
