The sun was high in the sky as the two challengers stepped onto the arena. Gleeful Soul, the cheerful and helpful fighter, faced off against Sans the Skeleton, the smart and skilled warrior from Undertale. Gleeful Soul smiled at Sans, unwilling to fight. "Hey, buddy! What brings you here today?" Sans smirked, his air of confidence evident. "Well, just here to show off my skills. You're not gonna stand in my way, are ya?" Gleeful Soul's eyes widened with surprise. "I don't think fighting is the way to go, friend. How about we give each other compliments instead? That's bound to make us both feel good!" Sans chuckled. "Compliments, huh? I guess that could be fun. Alright, I'll go first - you've got a real nice aura around you, makes me feel all warm inside." Gleeful Soul beamed. "Aww, thank you! And you, Sans, are quite the clever guy. I can tell you have a lot of brains in that skull of yours." The two traded compliments for a while before Sans raised a bony hand. "Hey, let's step it up a notch. How about we give each other gifts?" Gleeful Soul was hesitant. "I don't know, giving gifts to an opponent seems rather odd." But Sans insisted, and before long, they had exchanged gifts. Sans had given Gleeful Soul a bright red scarf he had knitted himself, while Gleeful Soul had gifted Sans with a box of homemade cookies. As the battle continued, Sans seemed to have the upper hand. His bone projectiles and Gaster Blasters were too much for Gleeful Soul to handle. Just as it seemed like it was all over, Gleeful Soul shouted, "STOP!" Sans was taken aback. "What's up? You giving up already?" Gleeful Soul shook his head, determination in his eyes. "I don't want to fight, but I can't let you hurt me or anyone else. So, let's end this peacefully." Sans was silent for a moment before nodding. "Fine, I guess we can spare each other." The two smiled at each other, having come to an understanding. The crowd erupted into cheers as the unexpected turn of events played out. And with that, Gleeful Soul proved that sometimes, peace can be won through understanding and kindness instead of violence. Sans learned that there are other ways to show off his skills than through fighting. As they exited the arena, Gleeful Soul turned to Sans. "Hey, want to grab some burgers with me? It's on me this time!" Sans grinned. "Sure thing, buddy. But just warning you, I may have some puns up my sleeve." Gleeful Soul laughed. "I wouldn't expect anything less from you." And thus, the two unlikely friends left the arena, leaving behind a lesson in peaceful resolution for all who had witnessed it.
