Suika, the oni, arrived on the scene just as Lance and Anna were gearing up for battle. She approached the two warriors cautiously, looking to get a sense of their fighting styles and personalities. Lance was the first to notice her, spinning around to face her as he leveled his Shadow Blaster at her head. "Who the hell are you?" he demanded, his voice rough and gravelly. Anna put a hand on Lance's shoulder, urging him to lower his weapon. "Simmer down, Lance," she said, turning to Suika with a small smile. "Sorry about that. We're just a little jumpy." Lance grunted in acknowledgement, but kept his finger on the trigger of his gun. Suika raised an eyebrow. "I'm Suika," she said. "I'm here to judge your battle." Lance and Anna exchanged a look, both of them clearly surprised. "Judge our battle?" Lance said. "What the hell does that mean?" "It means I'm going to watch you fight," Suika explained, "and decide who the winner is." Anna nodded, understanding. "Okay, we can work with that," she said. "Let's do this." Lance grinned, his finger twitching on the trigger. "You're going down, girlie," he growled. Anna rolled her eyes, drawing her Fairy Bow from her back. "We'll see about that," she said, taking aim. Suika stepped back, putting a safe distance between herself and the two fighters. "Begin!" she called out. Lance wasted no time, unleashing a barrage of bullets from his Shadow Blaster at Anna. She darted to the side, narrowly avoiding the spray of projectiles, and countered with a rain of arrows from her bow. The sound of gunfire and arrows filled the air as the two warriors sparred, each trying to gain the upper hand. Lance was focused solely on dealing as much damage as possible, while Anna was more strategic, using her elemental arrows to exploit Lance's weaknesses. But Lance wasn't going down without a fight. He unloaded his revolver on Anna, sending her reeling backwards with the force of the impact. She stumbled, barely able to hold onto her bow, and Lance took the opportunity to call down a barrage of small missiles on her. The ground shook as the missiles hit, sending dirt and debris flying. Anna was thrown backwards, her bow slipping from her grasp, and Lance smirked triumphantly. But Anna wasn't out yet. She quickly regained her footing, dusting off her Ranger Skirt as she surveyed the damage. "You think that's enough to take me down, Lance?" she said, her eyes flashing. Lance wasn't deterred. "I know it is," he said, leveling his Shadow Blaster at her once more. Anna's hands flew to her bow, imbuing it with a potent element. "You're about to find out otherwise," she said, taking aim. The two warriors stood facing each other, both poised to strike. Suika watched in rapt attention, her eyes darting back and forth between the two fighters. And then, with a deafening roar, they attacked. Lance pulled the trigger of his Shadow Blaster, sending a wave of dark energy hurtling towards Anna. She countered with a barrage of arrows, each one infused with a different elemental property. The two attacks collided in midair, sending shockwaves rippling through the ground. Anna was holding her own, but Lance wasn't backing down. He unleashed his Limit Break - Oblivion, dropping a tank onto Anna and shooting it with his revolver. The explosion was massive, filling the air with flames and smoke. Suika watched in awe as the tank exploded, the force of the blast sending her stumbling backwards. But when the smoke cleared, Anna was still standing, her clothes singed and her skin blackened. Lance, however, was down for the count. He lay motionless on the ground, his Shadow Blaster clattering beside him. Suika approached Anna, a look of admiration on her face. "You're the winner," she said, her voice filled with respect. "That was an incredible fight." Anna grinned proudly, retrieving her Fairy Bow from where it had fallen. "Thanks," she said. "Lance was tough, but I knew I could take him down if I played my cards right." Suika nodded, turning to Lance's prone form. "You put up a good fight," she said, extending a hand to help him up. Lance groaned, rubbing his head. "Yeah, well, I'll take you on any day of the week," he said, his voice low and gruff. Suika rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "I'll be sure to remember that," she said, before turning to leave. As she walked away, Anna and Lance exchanged a look. They may have lost the battle, but they would be back, stronger and more determined than ever before. And Suika would be there to judge them once again.
