Metraton, the scribe of heaven, stood at the center of the tournament grounds, surrounded by all the races of the world. The crowd was loud and restless with anticipation. They were all eager to witness the battle of the wild tough guy, the ultimate judge of the tournament. As they waited, the first battle was announced. A chariot led by two magnificent horses arrived, and out stepped the commander of the Army of Olympus, Ares, the god of war. His armor shone brightly under the sunlight, and his spear was fit for a god. By his side was Athena, the goddess of war, with her shield and her keen eyes surveying the battlefield. The crowd cheered as they watched the mighty army of Olympus march in formation. On the other side of the arena, a lone samurai stood with his swords at his side. His name was Miyamoto Musashi, the greatest swordsmen in Japanese history. He was a ronin, a vagrant samurai without a master, but his skill was legendary. Ares raised his spear and shouted, "You dare challenge the Army of Olympus, mortal?" Musashi simply bowed and calmly replied, "I am no mortal. I am a swordsman." Athena spoke up, "He looks calm and peaceful. Maybe he is not worth our time." But Ares was not so easily persuaded. "Do not underestimate him, Athena. He carries himself like a warrior. I will take him on myself." The two warriors faced each other, and the crowd fell silent. Ares charged forward with his spear, and Musashi drew his swords. The clash of metal rang through the arena as Ares struck hard at Musashi. But the swordsman countered with a swift uppercut, knocking the god of war off balance. Ares grunted, surprised at the strength of his opponent. Musashi followed up with Ichiten Ryūhaigake, a swift upward slash with his katana, but Ares blocked it with his shield. The god of war then swung his spear with all his might, but Musashi dodged with a backflip and landed behind him. Ares turned to face his opponent, but Musashi had already unsheathed his wakizashi and sliced the god of war's spear in half. Ares gasped, amazed at the speed and accuracy of Musashi's strike. But the battle was not over yet. Ares charged forward again, now using his fists to pummel the swordsman. Musashi was forced to retreat, but he was not afraid. He knew he had one more trick up his sleeve. As Ares lunged forward with a fierce punch, Musashi parried with his katana and used Niten Tatsu-otoshi, a technique where he parried an opposing target to the ground using his katana and wakizashi. Ares fell hard to the ground, and Musashi stood victorious. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, amazed at the defeat of a god by a mere mortal. Musashi sheathed his swords and bowed to Ares. "Thank you for the battle," he said. Athena stepped forward, now impressed by Musashi's skill. "You are a true swordsman," she said. "We may meet again someday." And with that, Musashi walked away from the battlefield, victorious. The wild tough guy, watching from above, nodded in approval. He had found his champion, and the tournament of Ragnarok continued with even more battles to come.
