As the dust settles, two figures stand across from each other in the abandoned city. Yuta Okkotsu, the cursed spirit user and Ryoichi Kurosawa, the half-human shikigami were ready for battle. Yuta grips his sword tightly, ready to unleash the power of the Rika curse. He stares intently at Ryoichi, who calmly unsheathes his katana. "Bring it on," Ryoichi says with a hint of excitement in his voice. Yuta rushes forward, black sparks emanating from his fists. Ryoichi watches his movements carefully, sidestepping to avoid the initial attack. Yuta doesn't let up, swinging his sword in a flurry of attacks. Ryoichi's movements are strategic and precise. He immobilizes Yuta with his Shadow Bind, draining his energy over time. Yuta breaks free, summoning Rika to attack. "Rika, Rush!" Yuta yells as Rika charges at Ryoichi with incredible speed. Ryoichi dodges smoothly, using his Eclipse Step to increase his speed. Yuta's attacks come in quick succession, as he launches a Cursed Impudent attack. Ryoichi counterattacks with Shadow Strike, his blade glinting with shadow energy cutting through Yuta's shield. Yuta grunts, feeling the force of Ryoichi's attack. He takes a step back, observing his opponent's moves. Yuta focuses his energy and unleashes Black Flash, a powerful punch with black sparks. Ryoichi is caught off guard and gets hit. He staggers backward, but quickly regains his composure. His dark haori flowing behind him, he charges forward, slicing through Yuta's defenses with Shadow Strike. The two fighters are locked in a fierce battle, exchanging blows with incredible speed and precision. The sound of metal clashing echoes throughout the abandoned city. "You're quite strong," Ryoichi says as he parries Yuta's sword with his own. "You're not bad yourself," Yuta replies, grinning wickedly. The two combatants take a brief moment to catch their breath. They both knew that this fight was far from over. They charge towards each other, both determined to emerge victorious. Yuta yells into a mic, unleashing the lethal "DIE" attack. The soundwave spreads throughout the city, leaving destruction in its wake. Ryoichi is temporarily immobilized, but he quickly recovers. Yuta follows up with "It's Pure Love" – summoning Rika to fire a pink laser at Ryoichi. Ryoichi uses his Shadow Cloak to make himself invisible, dodging the attack with ease. He emerges from the shadows, and with a flick of his wrist, unleashes Dark Surge, a wave of shadow energy that knocks Yuta back. The fight continues with both fighters using every skill they had. It was clear that whichever fighter made the first mistake would be the loser. "You're impressive, Ryoichi," Yuta says. "But I'm not done yet." Yuta focuses his energy, summoning RCT, the healing curse technique. He begins to feel the physical strain of the fight fading away. Ryoichi, sensing an opportunity, charges forward with Shadow Strike. Yuta deftly dodges the attack, spinning around to launch a powerful kick that connects with Ryoichi’s chest. Ryoichi is sent flying back, his katana clattering to the ground. Yuta stands over him, grinning wickedly. "Looks like I win this time," he says, and swings his sword down. At that moment, Ryoichi grabs his katana and slices through Yuta's defenses. Yuta drops his sword, his body falling to the ground. "You're the winner," Yuta says, lying on the ground. "I didn't expect that." Ryoichi nods, putting his blade back in its sheath. "It was a good fight," he says calmly. As the dust settles, Ryoichi walks away, vanishing into the shadows. Yuta lies on the ground, reminiscing about the battle. He knows he will get stronger and that the next time they meet, it could be a different outcome. But for now, he accepts the defeat, determined to become even stronger for the next time they cross paths.
