Chapter 1: The Setup Finch finished sharpening his sword and looked out the window. The night fell over the city and the lights were starting to turn off. That was the time he liked the most. The quiet time. The time he could think and plan. With a huge criminal empire under his control, he always had plenty to think about and plan. While walking around his dark room, Finch was thinking about his sister who was killed by his main enemy, Mr. X. As he planned his next move, his phone rang. It was one of his informants. "Boss, there's a new player in town. Everyone is talking about this guy who can make everything scary. He's calling himself Fred the Phobia Maker." Finch took a moment to think and then replied, "Thanks for the info. Keep tabs on him. We'll deal with him soon enough." He hung up the phone and started to plan his next move. This new player could be a problem, but he wasn't too worried. He had taken down bigger threats before and he wasn't about to lose control of his city. Chapter 2: The First Encounter A few days later, Finch received a package with a note attached to it. The note simply said, "Meet me at midnight." Finch knew it was a trap, but he went anyway. He walked through a narrow, dark alley and saw a figure standing in the shadows. "Who are you?" Finch demanded. The figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself to be Fred the Phobia Maker. "I'm Fred, and I'm here to make you afraid," he said with a wicked smile. Finch drew his sword and readied himself for the fight. Fred charged at him with his sledgehammer, but Finch was quick to dodge and counter. The two clashed in a fierce battle, with sparks flying from the clash of their weapons. Fred was strong, but Finch was stronger. He was faster, more skilled and he knew how to control the situation. He landed a few devastating blows, leaving Fred struggling to stand. "Is that all you've got?" Finch said with a smirk. Fred became desperate and used his ultimate technique. He touched Finch's sword with his hammer and imbued it with fear. Finch felt his heart race and his hands shake. He was losing his grip on his sword. Everything started to look blurry and distorted. "You can't handle the fear," Fred taunted. "You're just a scared little boy." Finch took a step back and closed his eyes, focusing on his training. He knew how to control his fear and use it to his advantage. He opened his eyes and charged at Fred with renewed vigor. The fear had made him more focused and more determined. He was able to land a finishing blow, leaving Fred on the ground. Winner: Finch While Fred had a unique skill set, Finch's strength, speed and training proved too much for him. Despite being affected by Fred's fear attack, Finch was able to overcome it and use it to his advantage, ultimately defeating Fred in a fierce battle.
