Without warning, Lancer and Ulquiorra Cifer appear in an empty and abandoned warehouse. They stand across from each other, with their eyes locked. Neither of them speaks a word as they immediately recognize the strength of the other. Lancer smirks as he cracks his knuckles. "I hope you're ready to meet your maker, demon." Ulquiorra just smirks in response. "You're going to have to do better than that to intimidate me, human." Without warning, Lancer splits into three different people, and the warehouse suddenly shakes with the overwhelming power of his abilities. "GEASS Lancer, SOUL Lancer, GO Beyond Lancer - let's show this demon what we're made of!" Ulquiorra is impressed but not intimidated. He stares down Lancer, preparing to release his resurrecion, the second and highest stage of his power. The air around him begins to crackle with energy, and he shouts, "Lancer, I hope you're ready for this!" The two charge at each other, and a loud explosion echoes throughout the warehouse as their attacks clash. Lancer uses his incredible speed to dodge Ulquiorra's attacks, while Ulquiorra tries to avoid Lancer's strange abilities - it's almost as if he's fighting three different people at once. Lancer's GEASS Lancer ability kicks in, and he commands Ulquiorra to stop in his tracks. Ulquiorra struggles to resist, but the Geass is too strong, and he has no choice but to stand there, powerless. Lancer uses this time to summon his SOUL Lancer, who hurls a powerful ball of pure soul at Ulquiorra, targeting his evil spirit. The ball strikes Ulquiorra dead on, and there's a loud explosion, causing the warehouse to shake again. Ulquiorra is badly injured, but he refuses to back down. He realizes that he's underestimated Lancer's abilities, and he needs to take him seriously if he wants to survive. He releases his resurrecion, and his entire body undergoes a radical transformation, becoming more powerful and terrifying than ever before. "Behold, Lancer," Ulquiorra postures. "The power of my resurrecion, Segunda Etapa. Now, prepare yourself for true battle." Without any hesitation, Ulquiorra unleashes his cero, a beam of destruction unlike anything Lancer has ever seen before. Lancer splits himself into three again, each one dodging the beam with incredible agility. But Ulquiorra is not one to be outdone, and he continues to release cero after cero, aiming them at each of Lancer's forms. The warehouse is now a battlefield, with the two combatants destroying everything around them. Lancer continues to dodge and weave, taking advantage of his incredible speed to stay one step ahead of Ulquiorra's attacks. But Ulquiorra is relentless, and he refuses to give up. "I am an Espada, and nothing can stand in my way!" he shouts. "You may be an Espada," Lancer replies with a smirk, "but you're still just a demon. And I'm not done with you yet." Lancer uses his GO Beyond Lancer ability, disrupting the natural laws of the universe around him. The warehouse begins to crack and crumble under his power, and Ulquiorra finds himself struggling to stay alive. In a last-ditch effort, Ulquiorra unleashes his final attack, the Lanza del Relámpago. You powerful spear of light that he launches at Lancer with all his might, intending to eliminate him once and for all. Lancer sees the attack coming and splits himself into three different forms again, dodging the spear narrowly and quickly reassembling himself before launching an unexpected attack on Ulquiorra. He uses his Geass Lancer power, commanding Ulquiorra to turn on himself. Ulquiorra struggles, trying to resist the orders, but the Geass is too strong. He turns on himself, impaling himself with the Lanza del Relámpago. Lancer watches with a grin as Ulquiorra falls to the ground, defeated. "Tough luck, demon." Ulquiorra looks up at Lancer, "You may have won this time, but the only thing that awaits you is despair." Lancer chuckles, "Hmph, I'm not too good with those fancy words, but I'll take that as a compliment," as he walks away unscathed and victorious.
