The subway station was eerily quiet as Mahito stood in the center of the platform, his purple-black aura emanating from his body. He was hungry for a fight and the cursed spirits around him could sense it. Suddenly, Yuji and Todo appeared from one of the tunnels, their coordinated movement almost like a dance. Mahito could sense the immense power that Yuji and Todo possessed. He smirked, eager to face off against them. Yuji and Todo looked at Mahito, their eyes locked on his. They both knew they were in for the fight of their lives. "Alright, Mahito! We're gonna take you down!" Yuji shouted. Mahito chuckled. "You two don't stand a chance against me. But if you insist on fighting, I won't hold back." The fight began with Mahito sending one of his Transfigured Humans towards Yuji and Todo. Todo used his Boogie Woogie technique to switch places with Yuji, allowing him to take down the Transfigured Human with ease. Mahito was impressed, but not phased. Mahito sent more Transfigured Humans towards the duo, but they continued to use their coordinated attacks to take them down. Yuji landed a Black Flash on one of them, sending it flying towards Mahito. Mahito responded by using his Soul Touch on the Transfigured Human, causing it to explode on contact with him. The fight continued, each side giving and taking blows. Todo used his Ultimate Cannonball to deal damage to Mahito, but he quickly regenerated using his Soul Armor. Yuji used his physical strength to land punches and kicks, but Mahito's Body Manipulation allowed him to easily dodge them. Finally, Mahito decided to switch tactics. He used his Idle Transfiguration to transform the entire subway station into a twisted, distorted version of itself. Yuji and Todo were caught off guard, struggling to keep their balance as the world around them shifted and changed. Mahito took advantage of their confusion, attacking them with all his might. He created multiple Soul Multiplicity clones, each one sending powerful attacks towards Yuji and Todo. The duo were overwhelmed, unable to keep up with the barrage of attacks. But just as Mahito thought he had won, Yuji and Todo used their coordinated fighting to surprise him. Todo used Boogie Woogie to switch places with Yuji, who then landed a devastating Black Flash on Mahito. The attack sent Mahito flying back, crashing into one of the walls of the subway station. Yuji and Todo approached Mahito, ready to deliver the final blow. Mahito looked up at them, his body broken and bruised. "You two... are stronger than I thought," he said. "Finish it. End my suffering." Yuji hesitated, not wanting to kill someone even as evil as Mahito. But Todo stepped forward, his determination unwavering. "I'll do it," he said. "For all the people you've hurt, for all the lives you've ruined. This is justice." Mahito closed his eyes, ready for the end. Todo raised his hand, ready to strike. But just as he was about to deliver the final blow, Yuji stepped in front of him. "Stop, Todo," he said. "Let's not become like him. Killing him won't bring back the people he's hurt. Let's show him our strength by sparing him." Todo looked at Yuji, then back at Mahito. He sighed deeply, lowering his hand. "You're right, Yuji. Killing him won't solve anything. Let's go." Yuji and Todo turned to leave, but Mahito called out to them. "Thank you," he said. "For showing me that there is still hope in this world. I'll... try to be better." Yuji and Todo looked back at Mahito, then continued on their way. The subway station returned to normal, and the cursed spirits around them retreated, sensing the immense power of the duo. As they walked out of the station, Yuji turned to Todo. "We make a pretty good team, don't we?" he said with a smile. Todo grinned back. "Yeah. We do." And the two of them walked off into the night, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
