Gensokyo was never a place for the faint of heart. Powerful beings and their unique abilities swirled around the fantastical land like a mist, always waiting for someone to make a move. Today, that move was Suika Ibuki's. She had forced me into a battle with You, the elegant and perfect maid, Sakuya Izayoi. I took a drag from my cigarette, my hand twitching with excitement. "So, you're the maid they call perfect, huh? I don't see anything perfect about you." I chuckled to myself. Sakuya Izayoi raised an eyebrow, her cold eyes scanning me from head to toe. "You must be the wild tough guy they warned me about. Don't get too confident, you don't know what I'm capable of." I smirked. "Oh, I know what you're capable of. But I also know what I'm capable of," I spat the cigarette butt to the ground. The two of us circled each other, her knives gleaming in the sunlight. I could feel the power emanating from her as she prepared to throw one my way. But I was prepared. "You're outmatched, maid. You're playing with fire now," I said with a grin. Suddenly, everything slowed down. I heard the sound of ticking clocks as Sakuya Izayoi used her time-stopping powers. But I could still move and I took the opportunity to launch myself towards her. I felt the rush of adrenaline as I picked up the pace and suddenly, the sound of clicking guns pulled me back. "Interesting," the voice of Opponent, Jhin the Virtuoso, echoed through the air. "I see a beautiful work of art in front of me. But it's not complete yet." I looked over to see Opponent standing there, his gun trained on me. "Who the hell are you?" I growled. "I am Jhin, the Virtuoso. And you, my friend, are the missing piece to my masterpiece. The perfect crime," he said, his eyes glinting with something almost sinister. I could feel the coldness of Sakuya Izayoi's knives pressed against my back. But my eyes were fixed on Jhin. "You think that you can kill me and call it a masterpiece?" I spat. Jhin's gun clicked as he loaded one of his magical bullets. "Oh, it won't be just any death. It'll be beautiful. You'll see," he said as he aimed at me. But before he could pull the trigger, Sakuya Izayoi had used her time-manipulating powers to throw her knives at him. The sound of metal slicing through the air was deafening as the knives caught him. Jhin fell to the ground, his own flowers springing up around him as he became one of his own creations. "Well, looks like the perfect crime wasn't so perfect after all," I smirked as I walked away from the scene. Sakuya Izayoi merely gave me a small nod, her knives disappearing back into her dress. "A job well done, wild tough guy. But watch your back. We'll meet again," she warned before disappearing with a small poof. I grinned to myself as I walked back home. I may not be perfect or elegant like Sakuya Izayoi, but I knew one thing for sure - I was wild, and that was all I needed to be.
