Kanae was now facing DIO alone, who had used Time Stangle to stop time. Kanae was caught, unable to move and watch as DIO approached. "You are foolish to challenge me," DIO said with a smirk. A sudden burst of darkness engulfed Kanae, and she was whisked away to a completely different part of the city. Suddenly, DIO appeared in front of her, at the end of the alleyway. "Your tricks won't work on me," DIO said arrogantly. "I can control reality, and I hold your fate in my hands." "You underestimate me," Kanae replied, her eyes flashing with determination. Turn the Lights Off summoned a portal once again, but this time the portal was blank, with no future vision. Kanae dashed towards DIO, making herself and Turn the Lights Off invisible, and she attacked DIO from behind. DIO reacted quickly and used his Stand to 'rewrite reality,' changing time and sending Kanae into a different future. However, to everyone's surprise, Kanae still stood in front of DIO, unaffected by the changes he had made. "Impossible!" DIO yelled. "No," Kanae replied resolutely. "Nothing is impossible if you have the will to win!" DIO attacked Kanae with all his might, but she remained unscathed. In a desperate attempt, The world over heaven used his ultimate ability, 'reality shaping,' erasing Kanae from existence. However, Akura remained unfazed, as she had used Turn the Lights Off to move her future self from the previous ten seconds into the present. Kanae brought her fists together, charged them with energy, and struck DIO with all her might. The vampire was thrown into the air, and his body crumpled to the ground. Kanae emerged victorious, and the city was safe once again. She breathed a sigh of relief and turned to face her opponent.
