A dimension for the multiverse's strongest to prove themselves.
very long, novel format w/ dialogue, intense battle, descriptive
In the dimension of the multiverse where the strongest prove themselves, Cat and Sun Wukong had been selected as competitors. The arena was a desolate wasteland, with nothing but rocks and sand stretching out as far as the eye could see. As the battle began, Cat simply sat there cleaning himself, looking incredibly uninterested. Sun Wukong, on the other hand, was ready to fight. He leapt forward, his staff ready to strike. Cat yawned and lazily pressed his big red button. You tiny ball of Anti-energy appeared on the ground, and Sun Wukong instinctively tried to avoid it. However, the ball was tracking him, and no matter how fast he moved, it stayed right on his trail. Suddenly, Sun Wukong realized that his powers were useless against Cat. He tried to call on his magic, but it had no effect. He tried physical attacks, but his staff simply bounced off Cat's fur. In a moment of desperation, he tried to appeal to Cat's softer side. "Come on, Cat," he said. "We don't have to fight. We could team up and take on the other competitors together!" Cat simply stared at him, unimpressed. "Nah uh," he said, pressing another button on his body. Suddenly, Sun Wukong's own attack was reversed on him, sending him flying across the arena. As Sun Wukong struggled to get to his feet, he realized that he was in serious trouble. He had never faced an opponent like this before. Cat seemed invincible, immune to all his attacks, and unwilling to cooperate. Just when he thought it was all over, something strange happened. Cat suddenly stopped moving, and a weird look appeared on his face. He started to meow uncontrollably, and then he began to shrink. Within moments, he had transformed into a tiny kitten, and he was swatting at a butterfly. Sun Wukong couldn't believe it. This fierce, unstoppable opponent had been defeated by... a butterfly? He cautiously approached the kitten, wondering what had happened. Suddenly, he heard a voice in his mind. "I'm back," said Cat. "I'm always revived when I use my Devil's Charm. But when I do, I lose all my memories and become a kitten again. It's the only way to stop myself from destroying everything." Sun Wukong nodded, impressed. "Well played, Cat," he said. "You're a worthy opponent." The two competitors sat in silence for a few moments, watching the butterfly flutter away. Finally, Sun Wukong spoke up. "Will we fight again?" he asked. Cat smiled. "No need," he said. "You're not my enemy anymore." And with that, the two competitors disappeared, leaving the desolate wasteland behind. In another dimension, they would be remembered as the fiercest opponents to ever grace the arena. But for now, they were just two warriors, wandering through the multiverse, looking for their next challenge.
