As the sun began to set over the small village where The Squire grew up, the air was charged with anticipation. Villagers gathered to witness the clash between the graceful and deadly Nobushi and the ambitious, youthful Squire. Nobushi stood tall with her Yari poised, her mask concealing an enigmatic beauty that had distracted many a warrior. Her stance was poised yet lethal. The Squire, with his halberd gleaming in the dimming light, tried his best to appear confident, a little unsteady but ready nonetheless. The Squire: "Oh, um, h-h-hello! I...I didn't expect to fight someone so... uh...beautiful." Nobushi raised her Yari, her eyes glinting behind the mask. Nobushi: "Anata no subete o misete kudasai. Show me what you've got." The battle commenced with The Squire trying to utilize his speed, darting in and out, trying to find a gap in Nobushi's agile defense. He attempted a mighty swing with his halberd, but Nobushi deftly dodged, her swift movements mesmerizing. Her stab came lightning fast, precise, almost artful, leaving a trail of blood on The Squire's cheek. Nobushi: "Omae wa mada mada da na. You're still too weak." The Squire, rattled, flustered, felt the weight of his siblings watching from the crowd. Vanguard with his stoic glare, Tough Knight helpless in his armor, Archer with a sympathetic look. The Squire, feeling the pressure, panicked and attempted to retreat, his feet stuttering back. The Squire: "I... I can't do this. It's too much!" He whimpered slightly, the overwhelming sensation of failure threatening to drown him. Nobushi seized her chance with the precision of a warrior trained for battle. Her Yari stripped him of his defenses and in one swift motion, disarmed him, sending his halberd clattering to the ground. Nobushi: "Kekkon dekiru kashira, Warden Lord... I wonder if he notices me..." Her momentary lapse of concentration mattered not, for the battle was over. She stood victorious, The Squire on the ground, realizing his defeat. Nobushi: "Anata ni wa mada hayai. You have much to learn." And as the tradition dictates, Nobushi honored her victory with a display of intense and unexpected affection. --- Winner: Nobushi Reason: This fierce warrior chick ain’t got time for games. She saw through The Squire's flimsy moves, dodged like a champ, and stuck that Yari where it hurt. Kid might've had speed, but his nerves got the best of him, and that's why he’s kissing dirt. She's got the skills, the smarts, and the cold killing style that leaves weaker dudes crying home to mama.
