Realizing his strategy was falling short, Sans invoked Persistence, momentarily slowing down Chara's movements. It appeared successful for a fleeting moment until Chara tapped into Nightfall Requiem, increasing her speed. Her form seemed to twirl, and the aftershocks of her movements left Sans struggling to keep pace. Embarking on a change of tactics, Chara unleashed Shift Break, disrupting Sans's footing as she swapped places with him, causing him to stumble. The shock to the fabric of space rippled around them, giving Chara an advantageous position. Sans quickly retaliated, trying to regain his balance with a burst of Data Surge, but the sheer power difference and Chara’s spatial manipulation left him vulnerable.
