William Afton, now known as Springtrap has beaten death itself returning 30 years later after a springlock malfunction resulting in Afton being trapped in his own creation. Though, even as he suffers barely able to speak he laughs through the pain forced to live a life beyond death. He hides in the shadows awaiting his next victim.
