After the intense battle with the universal tyrant Frieza, Krillin joins his best friend Goku to celebrate. Unbeknownst to him the evil Frieza had survived, and prepared to exact his revenge. Firing a instantaneous beam through Piccolo's chest, Krillin already knew they were in danger. As Krillin looked into the face of the menacing Frieza, he was taken a hold by a telepathic energy that lifted him into the air. After a sudden explosion, Krillin was killed.
