The Multiverse

Prompt

write a couple paragraphs about one of the characters having a multiversal mishap and fights the opponent.

God Killer emerged out of the portal, his eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings. He had traveled through countless dimensions, but this one was unlike any he had ever seen before. Strange creatures scurried across the barren wasteland, their twisted forms sending shivers down his spine. As he walked, he could feel his power surging within him. Thousands of years of hunting down gods and absorbing their energy had made him virtually omnipotent, and he could feel the familiar itch to find a new challenge. He had heard rumors of a being that no one had been able to defeat - a reality bending creature that was always victorious. The challenge intrigued him, and he felt a smile creep across his lips as he took off towards the source of the rumors. It didn't take long for God Killer to locate Fanum Tax, who was hovering above the ground in all his reality-bending glory. The multiverser sensed God Killer's presence instantly, and turned to face him with a cocky grin. But God Killer could sense the fear in Fanum Tax's eyes - the first time he had seen any entity show any sign of weakness. The thought made him even more determined to emerge victorious. Without a word, the two beings charged at each other. Fanum Tax's Uno reverse card flickered into existence, but God Killer was ready. He effortlessly dodged, making use of his tremendous speed to outsmart his foe. He then lunged forward, his spear glowing with an otherworldly energy that could only come from the power of thousands of dead gods. Fanum Tax tried to dodge, but God Killer was too fast. The spear plunged forward, striking the multiverser directly in the chest. For a moment, Fanum Tax seemed to be alright. But then, his body started to flicker and warp. God Killer watched with fascination as his foe disintegrated into nothingness, his reality-bending abilities unable to protect him from the might of God Killer's power. It was over quickly, the multiverser defeated in a single blow. God Killer basked in the glow of his victory, feeling the energy of yet another god coursing through his veins. He had once again proven himself to be the greatest hunter of all, the only one able to best any opponent who came his way. And as he stepped back through the portal, he knew that he would be off to seek out another challenge, eager for the next being that dared to cross his path.
