Caroline: (Staring into Owlman’s soul) You seem to think that nothing matters in this universe, but I am here to remind you that every action has a reaction. Owlman: (Staring back coldly) You’re wasting your breath. I know what I’m doing is the only way to put an end to everything. Caroline: (Getting into an attack position) I won’t let you do that. My team’s got too much at stake. Owlman: (His face calm in contrast to Caroline’s intensity) You’re fighting for the wrong reasons. It’s my duty to end everything. They both charge towards each other. Caroline swings her staff while Owlman tries to lunge at her with his claws. Caroline slides under Owlman’s attack and hits him with a roundhouse kick. Owlman staggers but recovers quickly. Owlman: (admiring Caroline's skill) Not bad for someone who likes tech gadgets. Caroline: (smirking) That’s just one of my many skills. They both engage in hand to hand combat. Owlman’s martial arts skills are evident, but Caroline’s combat style is more unpredictable. Owlman: (notices Caroline’s fighting skills) You’re more skilled than I imagined. Caroline: (smiling while fighting) You’ve underestimated me. As they continue to fight, Owlman notices Caroline’s speed and agility. He tries to increase his attack speed but seems to struggle. Owlman: (gasping for breath) You’re way faster than I expected. Caroline: (takes advantage of his slow speed) You’ve been to so many universes, yet you still underestimate the locals. Caroline uses her spy tech to trap Owlman, making him unable to move. But he quickly breaks through, getting injured in the process. Owlman: (writhing in pain) I overestimated my strength. Caroline: (advances) You’re not invincible. You’ve made your last mistake. Owlman: (refuses to back down) I won’t accept defeat. Owlman activates his exoskeleton, protecting him from Caroline’s attack. They continue to fight, leaving Craters as deep as the Grand Canyon. After a long fight, Caroline wins, knocking out Owlman. Caroline: (catches her breath) You’re not what you think you are. Our choices have meaning. Caroline was able to use her unpredictable combat style, speed and agility to get the better of Owlman. Despite him being highly skilled and having access to various forms of tech, Caroline’s resourcefulness and cool head got the better of him.
